"Life Dissonance" is a contemporary jazz band led by Spanish trumpeter and composer Álvaro Ocón Ocón. The project is characterized by the performance of original music in which the trumpeter explores the inclusion of dissonant textures within a tonal context, creating a musical proposal that reflects the emotional and existential complexities of life. Influenced by artists such as Ambrose Akinmusire and Guillermo Klein, Ocón seeks to capture both the light and the shadows of the human experience in an introspective and deeply personal way.

The music of Life Dissonance is distinguished by its intensity and intimate atmosphere, where each note seems carefully crafted to create a unique sonic experience. The project is enriched by the participation of a group of highly talented young European musicians, whom Ocón deeply admires and respects.
