The band’s dedication to music and the arts, coupled with their constant pursuit of innovation, makes them a unique and irresistible

proposition.

The quintet, born at the prestigious Jazzcampus in Basel (Switzerland), is a vibrant ensemble that combines a profound passion for jazz

with exceptional talent. Comprising Javier Rojo (saxophone), Álvaro Ocón (trumpet), Noé Sécula (piano), Joan Codina (double bass), and

Genius Wesley (drums), this group of young virtuosos offers a captivating and soulful musical experience, as consistently recognized by

audiences during their tours and by critics following the release of their debut album.

The quintet’s repertoire consists of original music composed by Javier and other members of the band. Their collective musicality blends

a wide array of timbres and textures, creating immersive soundscapes that deeply resonate with listeners. Melody takes center stage,

drawing influences from classic jazz to avant-garde sounds, while also incorporating elements of classical music, flamenco, and pop. This

rich tapestry of influences is conveyed through the group’s vibrant energy, rhythmic dynamism, and the interplay among its musicians—

a hallmark of their artistry. Improvisation flows naturally, fostering spontaneous and dynamic musical dialogues. After years of playing

together, their camaraderie is unmistakable, resulting in a profound connection with their audience.

In June 2024, the band embarked on a tour spanning over fifteen days in Spain, performing at venues such as Jimmy Glass (Valencia),

Clarence Jazz Club (Torremolinos), El Matador (Madrid), Ool Ya Koo (Granada), La Polivalente (Málaga), and El Despertar (Madrid). The

tour culminated in the recording of their debut album, Música Para Amansar Fieras. This milestone represents a turning point in their

journey, solidifying their place in the European jazz scene.

The new album was premiered in the fall of 2024 in cities across Switzerland and Spain, including Madrid, Barcelona, Basel, and

Guadalajara, with performances in venues like the Buero Vallejo Theater in Guadalajara during its Jazz Festival, where they played to an

audience of over 700 people. The concert received such an enthusiastic response that more than 80 albums were sold on-site.

Throughout 2025, the quintet will continue presenting the album in various European countries. The last tour where in cities such as

Seville, Granada, and Algeciras, where they premiered new songs (some of which you can find in the links on the last page) from what

will be their second album. The new material was very well received and successful among the audience.
