Madalena Caldeira Quartet

Madalena Caldeira (b. October 15, 2003, Madeira, Portugal) is a jazz vocalist and composer, known for her original arrangements and personal interpretations of the repertoire.

In 2023, she formed a quintet with friends and musicians—piano, guitar, double bass, and drums—bringing her music to life with creativity and storytelling, with a soulful voice and interpretation from the band. The Quintet honors the rich tradition of jazz from the American Songbook, drawing on Blues, Vaudeville blending them to her own compositions, that honor the past and speaking to the present, balance with tradition and innovation while honoring and respecting jazz and the great composers and musicians of the era.
