Pause the Time

Pause The Time is a new trio for trumpet, double bass, and drums, created to explore the openness and interplay of a harmony-free format. While tenor saxophone trios have a place in jazz history, the trumpet-bass-drums format remains rare, offering its own sonic space. The group pushes the possibilities of this stripped-down setting, making interplay, silence, and contrast central to the music.
